Perfect for musicians November 28, 2008 The layout of the outlets on the Mighty 8 are great for tight situations on stages. It can be tucked behind or in between equipment and it will still allow easy access to all eight outlets, even when power cords are routed in from many different angles. I had been using a Mighty 8 for over 5 years and it never failed me. That one is still going strong, but the warranty for the surge suppression expires after 5 years, so it was time for a new one. You should always replace your surge suppressors after that long anyway. This is great, durable product.
Great Power Extension Strip June 29, 2008 Used for a home made Computer work bench system. This item worked quite well and also saved me a bundler compared to more higher prices extensions.
Good powerstrip, especially for the price October 21, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I got this power strip to use with my media center, and it works pretty well.
Pros: - Cheap and good quality. - Dedicated ports for power bricks. - Creative design saves a bit of space. - Lengthy cord. - Flat plug design.
Cons: - The design of the plug means that it blocks the bottom wall outlet if you plug it into the top outlet. A right-angle plug would have been much better. - The cord is stiff, making it difficult to position the surge protector. - The creative design means that cables will cross over each other when you use all the outlets.
Overall, it's very good for the price, but if you're like me and you like to keep your cables neat, this surge protector can be a little tricky.
Clever arangement of outlets August 9, 2007 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I know you are not supposed to but tons of plugs into one outlet, but these days what are you going to do with all these electronics? I like the arrangement of these outlets so that you can use the large transformer type plugs and not block (thus waste) other outlets. The price was reasonable for this product as well.
didn't protect my equipment July 8, 2007 4 out of 7 found this review helpful
I love the design of this thing, but it didn't protect my equipment -- a power surge fried one of my RAM modules and one of my hard drives.
