Other reviewers are right -- this is a nicely designed Kindle cover. That said, I don't use mine. Why? I've had it for more than a month now, and I just can't stand the smell. Leather is badly tanned, maybe? I don't know. But even now, it's there. Not nice trapped inside a bag or sitting on a bedside table.
The best gift ever! January 2, 2009 I used the original cover for six months, continually having the Kindle slip out of the cover and or turning pages "accidentally." Still I perservered because the Kindle itself was so pricey. When my dear friend asked what I wanted for Christmas I mentioned the M-edge, as I doubted if I would buy it for myself. This is the most wonderful cover! The Kindle no longer slips or falls and pages stay put. If I had known how great it was I would have bought it from the start. It would have been great if the Kindle came equipped with the M-edge.

This cover is such an improvement over the one that comes with the kindle. It fits great and doesn't fall off. It also looks great. Add the m-edge book light that is made to fit it and you have a great addition!
M-edge Red Leather Kindle cover December 21, 2008 M-edge Genuine Leather Executive Jacket for Amazon Kindle is very nice and holds Kindle snug in its place as I read. I have only one complaint: I'm not able to get to the on/off switches due to my disability. I have tried building my Kindle up away from cover and bending on the leather cover to get to these important switches but I don't know yet if it will work.

I placed an order on November 24th and was surprised when I received an email with shipping confirmation and tracking number on Nov. 28th. I paid extra for expedited shipping so I figured it would only be a few days til my order arrived. My credit card was charged for both the light and the cover as well as shipping for both. A few days after I received the e-mail I checked the tracking info on it, and it still reflected that the info was received but the package had not yet been received for shipping. After reading about several others having issues with M-Edge, and dealing with a snippy CSR regarding my order, I decided to cancel my order. I sent another email within minutes of receiving a response to my initial inquiry requesting the order be canceled since it had not been shipped yet. 3 days later I had not heard back so I sent another e-mail via Amazon asking if my refund had been processed yet and I was told that even though they had received my cancellation request they shipped my order! They did refund my credit card for the light and the shipping, but not for my cover at this point and the CSR's rep left a bad taste in my mouth so I informed him that I would be out of town all week and asked that he contact the shipping company to intercept the package and have it returned after an attempted delivery. At that point I found out that expedited delivery is USPS with no signature required (not to mention that this so-called expedited service just means that you're paying extra for the same shipping method as standard delivery). Well I arrived home 3 days later and I find out my package is not on my doorstep or with any neighbors so I send another email to M-Edge informing them of this and I'm told flatly that it is MY responsibility to get this package back to them if i expect a refund! I understand packages get lost sometimes, but the attitude of the CSR during this whole experience made me appreciate all the other great service I've received from the many other sellers I've dealt with via Amazon!
UPDATE: In response to M-Edge's comment following my initial review. I want to clarify here that the cancellation request was made via Amazon PRIOR to its shipping. The email was also acknowledged received by the CSR named Devon, who blatantly disregarded the request and shipped the item 2 days after the cancellation request. The issue with my experience was based on the attitude of his customer service, not the mishap in shipping that is not a rarity. I will say this though. After repeated failed attempts at communicating with M-Edge, I contacted Amazon and let them know of the situation, they initiated an A-Z Guarantee claim. The chargeback that would have occurred is probably what prompted another M-Edge rep to actually call me back (previous voicemails had gone ignored, and all the calls seemed to be routed to voicemail!), and she was extremely courteous and polite. She did initiate a refund promptly and said she was working with the USPS (which the other rep Devon, IMO, should have done from the get-go), however, did they really have a choice but to initiate the refund considering Amazon was going to refund my money and issue a chargeback? You decide.
