Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
He's the media's darling, the fresh face of the Democratic ticket. But what does Barack Obama really stand for--and will his extreme liberal agenda and complete inexperience in global affairs endanger the country? That's what David Freddoso, investigative reporter and National Review Online columnist, examines in The Case Against Barack Obama. In this shocking exposé, Freddoso explores the reality behind the rhetoric, the plans behind the promises, and the faults behind the façade, revealing:

* Why Obama's inexperience and extreme left-wing voting record is more dangerous than any threat we face today
* Why the Rev. Wright debacle reveals Obama's poor judgment of character and deceitful nature
* Why it won't be politics of change with President Obama--it will be liberal politics as usual

Freddoso exposes the real Barack Obama: a typical big-government politician, the #1 most liberal U.S. senator, and--if he were commander in chief--a serious threat to our national security.

4 out of 5 stars Useful   December 31, 2008
I found the book useful but I knew most of the information already. It is a good read for someone that gets all their news from the biased mainstream news media.

3 out of 5 stars An Interesting Read   December 29, 2008

An interesting book, especially in light of the Illinois "pay for play" investigations that are currently going on. Written by a conservative author, he nonetheless dispels many of the outrageous lies about President-Elect Obama, while delving into the serious questions that surround his quick rise to the national scene. Great discussions about the Clintons, Chicago and Springfield "pinstripe patronage," Obama's agenda with regard to taxes, abortion, judges, the Iraq War, etc., his campaign and voting records.

Ultimately only three stars since I tend to take partisan writings as what they are: Partisan. I don't buy into the extremes of either party, but approach these types of books with a healthy skepticism. A good read nonetheless.

5 out of 5 stars Should be read by everyone.   December 26, 2008

Very informative. Probably should have been read by every voter prior to voting. Didn't change my view, but still was very informative.

5 out of 5 stars The Case Against Barack Obama   December 1, 2008

After reading this book, I don't know how anyone could have voted for this man! It is a sad fact in American politics today that not enough people seem to care about the character of their candidates. Image appears to be everything these days. The words of Shakespeare are as true today as they were hundreds of years ago: "So may the outward shows be least themselves. The world is still deceived with ornament." May God help us!

1 out of 5 stars Numerous inaccuracies   November 28, 2008

This book has numerous inaccuracies. I wonder how those that love this book will survive living the next 4 years under Obama. Actually make that 8 years, since more than likely the economy will not be in a recession 4 years from now, which will make his re-election all but guaranteed. I'm glad Obama won the presidency.
