 Toro Blower/Vac January 6, 2009
This is a great blower, really use the 2 speeds alot. I never have used it as a vac so I can't speak to that. I had to replace my 3 year old blower (same make/model) because I knocked it off a high shelf and it smashed on my garage floor so this is my 2nd unit. Good product and price, highly recommended.
Easy to use December 27, 2008
The parts snap together in just a few minutes right out of the box. Very easy and fun to use - much faster and easier than raking leaves. Highly recommended.
Very powerful for an electric model December 2, 2008
More powerful than some gas blowers I've used. You can move massive quantities of leaves with it - and that's without the included "concentrator sleeve" you can insert to make the airflow even stronger.
Excellent value for the price. I like it a lot, and would have given it five stars if it weren't for two issues:
- One design flaw - there's no hook on the back to anchor your extension cord, so it tends to come unplugged pretty easily whenever there's any pull on the cord.
- It's pretty heavy for extended use. Then again, since it's so powerful, it doesn't take as long to do the job, so that offsets the problem a bit.
Otherwise, it's a good blower at a very nice price.
Toro leaf blower November 26, 2008
This blower does a great job of blowing and vacuuming leaves. It has plenty of power and is user friendly. The collection bag is an adequate size. The attachments are simple and easy to use. It was a little more bulky than I thought it might be, but it certainly does the job !!
Great Leaf Blower November 18, 2008
I have a very heavily landscaped yard of 2 acres. I use a TroyBuilt chipper/shredder/vac for most leaf clean-up, but this Toro leaf blower is a great additional asset. I researched leaf blowers heavily and there wasn't a single blower out there, either gas or electric, that had more output than this Toro.
It handles deep leaves with ease and also is quite good with wet leaves. It has two speeds and I often find myself using the slower speed since the higher often is simply too much air -- that's a good recommendation for any leaf blower! It is relatively quiet and the noise it makes is not unpleasant. I don't find it necessary to wear ear protection, unlike with gas powered equipment.
I don't use it as a mulcher often, but it handles that task well for small to medium size areas. The unit is shipped with everything you need for leaf/debris blowing and for mulching/vacuming -- no accessories to buy.
Great product. It does everything claimed and more.
